Special thanks to PAC Art Residency and Director Paola Creixel for the generous support during my residency at PAC, where the artworks were created.
Bayou Suite is a site-specific project commissioned for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, and installed at Gate D2 of the Mickey Leland International Terminal.
“The artworks that I created for this project were developed around the relationship with the urban landscape, nature, and the diverse culture of the city of Houston. These compositions will welcome travelers with visual vibrancy through the celebration of nature and multiculturalism. This exhibit will engage the attention across all ages because of the playfulness of the imagery.”
